Load-in started at dawn: cranes, forklifts and truss going up the middle of Market Street while the interior was dressed into lit studio sets. By nightfall the block was a venue — LED walls, lasers and a crowd that ran from the marquee to the corner.
The control room ran it: multi-camera capture cut live to the program feed, video village at the base of the stage, and the private fiber carrying the show out to a national audience. Zero permits for filming, one block, one night.
