The season two premiere screened to a full house under the original proscenium, cast on stage in front of an HBO podium. Outside, the block became the party — food, vendors, a stage and thousands of people filling Market Street from the marquee down to the corner.
Popcorn cart in the Art Deco lobby, red carpet at the doors, and a marquee that read HBO presents Insecure. It is the clearest picture of what this campus can do: a theater, a bar and a city block that a network can take over end to end, in one night.
